A small Mallorcan wedding at Es Muntant
Small, intimate, Mallorcan. The vine-shaded terrace, the olive-wood brasa, paella out of the pan. Up to 80 guests.
A wedding at Restaurant Es Muntant isn't a hotel-catalogue wedding — it's a Mallorcan family celebration as it's been done here for decades. You marry in the village church of Establiments or at Palma's registry office, then come here onto the terrace where the olive-wood grill has been burning since morning and the paella holds the room for the next two hours.
👰 Spaces and sizes
The vine-shaded terrace seats 30 at one long table or up to 50 cocktail-style. The main dining room takes 50 banquet-style. From 70 guests you book the whole restaurant exclusively — terrace, dining room and bar together, capped at 80. For smaller weddings (30-50) we split the venue: you take the terrace or the room, other guests stay separate.
Free parking at the door for guests, plus the side streets off the Carretera d'Esporles. The TIB bus from Plaça d'Espanya stops opposite.
🥘 Menu options
Three ways to feed a wedding — pick what suits:
- Paella wedding: a 1.20-metre paella on the terrace, preceded by Mallorcan variat (eight tapas starters), finished with house-made greixonera or crema catalana.
- Brasa wedding: the wood-fired grill as the centrepiece — entrecote, lamb chops, grilled sea bass; sides from the wood oven (tumbet, grilled vegetables).
- Pa amb oli buffet: all 9 pa amb oli variants as a station between welcome drinks and main — flexible, Mallorcan, popular with mixed crowds.
House wine: DO Binissalem red and white. Cava from Penedès. Mallorcan gins (Suau, Mallorquí) for the bar. Combinations we settle at the tasting.
